ĦJun, 1994Founded in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan with capital of 20 million yen.
ĦApr, 1996Moved to Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
ĦMar, 1998Managing Director Mr. Maida starts training at EPO.
ĦApr, 2000Registered to JPO web-site. Opened web-site of WISEL.
ĦNov, 2000Expanded the Patent Information Analysis and Technical Trend Analysis department.

EBegin publishing Japanese version of "EPIDOS News" issued by EPO to web-site of WISEL.

ĦJan, 2007The president of Nagoya Office gave a lecture on "patent information search" for the faculties in an intellectual property department of Nagoya University.
ĦJun, 2007The vice president of Osaka Office joined the "Patent Search Competition" as an examiner. The competition was held as 50th anniversary event of the Association for Kansai Patent Information Center.
ĦDec, 2007 Published a translation of the book "Integrated Intellectual Asset Management" written by Steve Manton in cooperation with Dr.Yoshitoshi Tanaka, Associate Professor of Graduate School of Innovation Management,Tokyo Institue of Technology.
ĦJan, 2008Joined International Trademark Association(INTA).
ĦApr, 2008EOur search staff participated in training at EPO. He is the seventh person to join the training from our company.
ENagoya Office was also authorized as the official prior-art search office for medium and small companies by JPO.

ĦNov, 2009Organized gIntellectual Property Seminar for Small and Medium Enterprises and Business Venturesh by Mr. Yoichiro Sata, Chief and Professor of Intellectual Property Management and Education Center, Yamaguchi University in Tokyo and Osaka in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the foundation of Wisel Corporation (in Tokyo and Osaka).
ĦMay, 2010Mr. Koji Amasaki (technical fields: chemistry and biotechnology), Patent Agent and Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant, joined as a counsel. Mr. Amasaki was qualified as a patent agent in 2003 during his continuance with Wisel.
ĦDec, 2010EIncreased capital to 58 million yen.
EMr. Tomoaki Azuma (technical fields: electronics, information and communications, software), Patent Agent, joined as a counsel. Mr. Azuma was qualified as a patent agent in 2006 during his continuance with Wisel.
ĦNov, 2011EThree examiners visited Wisel from the EPO. Wisel's search staff received a detailed explanation about CPC, etc.
EMs. Naoko Okuizumi, Wisel's employee, was qualified as a patent agent (resigned in August, 2012).
ĦMay, 2013Moved Nagoya Office to Nishiki, Naka-ku, Nagoya.
ĦMar, 2014Ms. Rika Wakui, Wisel's employee, received the highest award (as the top of six Gold searchers) in the category gIndividualsh (participants: 201 individuals) of the Patent Search Competition sponsored by IPCC and held Oct. 2013.
ĦMay, 2015Mr. Takami Aoyama joined as a counsel. Mr. Aoyama was a General Manager of the Intellectual Property Department of Toyota Motor Corporation.
ĦJun, 2015Mr. Takami Aoyama, counsel, received a national award for his contribution to the promotion of inventions at the 2015 National Commendation for Invention.
ĦDec, 2015Mr. Koji Amasaki, counsel, received the highest award in the category of gIndividualsh at the 2015 Patent Search Competition sponsored by IPCC.
ĦApr, 2016Entrusted, via the Japan Institute for Promoting Invention and Innovation, with a 2016 project commissioned by the Japan Patent Office on the analysis and use of patent information for supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, etc.

ĦOct, 2018Ms. Rika Wakui, chief of Bio/Pharmaceutical/Chemical Division of WISEL, served as a lecturer at the special planning seminar gLearn from active Patent Searchers! Patent infringement investigation seminar using Japio-GPG / FXh.
ĦDec, 2018WISELfs Team (Ms. Arita, Nakanishi and Wakui) was awarded second place (Category of Team Competition) in Patent Search Grand Prix 2018 organized by IPCC.
ĦDec, 2018Ms. Rika Wakui was awarded a Gold certification (Category of Individual Competition) in Patent Search Grand Prix 2018 organized by IPCC.
