global & seamless search for Patent and Non-patent

This is a global search covering worldwide references, using IPDL (Industrial Property Digital Library) of JPO, esp@cenet of EPO, USPTO patent full-text and image database of USPTO, Delphion, Dialog and Patolis, which are for patent and utility model, and STN and JOIS, which are for non-patent, performed to verify the existence of prior art or relating documents seamlessly before filing a patent application or a request for examination in addition to a performance of an infringement search or a validity search.

1. Covered Documents
In principle, published patent applications and utility model applications, and, if desired, also non-patent, are covered in accordance with the content of the search.

2. Term of Search
In principle, published patent applications and utility model applications, and non-patent are available up to the present. It is possible to determine the term in accordance with the technical field and the technical content.

3. Search Procedure
After carefully reviewing the technical content of the search, logical formulas for each database are drawn up to narrow the final number of search results to from around 1,000 to 5,000 references. Then full texts of the hit references are carefully reviewed and references closely related with the object of the search will be reported as located references.

4. Reporting Style
We will locate at least one patent, utility model, or non-patent reference and report it together with the logical formulas to be used in the search and the copies of the located references.
There are 2 types of reporting style. Please refer to the attached sample.

Sample 1 Report only the degree of similarity to the object of the search
Option Report with brief comments comparing with the object of the search

Reporting in a customized format is also available.

5. Delivery Date
Reports are delivered in 3 to 4 weeks after receiving orders for one global search. When more than 2 searches are desired, delivery date is negotiable.

6. Cost
From $2,000 for patent and utility model.
From $2,800 for patent, utility model and non-patent.
Optional Reports with brief comments involve an additional charge of $100, and copies of the references are 25‘ per sheet.

7. How to Order
Contact us and provide a copy of the specification for the search before filing the patent or utility model application, or a copy of the published patent or utility model application for the search before filing the request for the examination attached.

Example of GSS Report

Exemplary case study of the global search using USPTO patent full-text and image database or Delphion, esp@cenet, IPDL, Patolis and JOIS is shown below.

Reporting style (Sample 1)

Multiple Boolean formulas will be applied in each database eventually.
Case 1: ((1 or 2) and 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 and 7)
